Welcome to DPS's Failure to Appear / Failure to Pay Program
This site contains information on violators who have been reported by Texas cities and counties in accordance with Chapter 706 of the Texas Transportation Code. If you have been reported to the program, you will not be able to renew your Texas driver license until the reported violation is resolved with the reporting court.
In order to access your information, you will need your Texas driver license number and your date of birth. Entry of your license number and date of birth will give you a listing of the reporting court as well as the docket number and other information on the offense. Scrolling over the court name will give you the mailing address and phone number for the court. You will need to contact the court to resolve the Offense. If you have been reported by more than one court, you will have to contact each court. The court has five business days to forward the clearance once the violation is resolved; please allow another three to five business days for the Department of Public Safety to update your driver license record.
This site is maintained by OmniBase Services of Texas for the Failure to Appear/Failure to Pay Program. This site contains no information on other Department of Public Safety programs. If you have questions about license suspensions, or other driver license issues, you will need to contact the Department of Public Safety at (512) 424-2600 or Customer Service. For information concerning Driver Responsibility surcharge payments or to set up an installment agreement, please contact the Municipal Services Bureau at 1-800-688-6882 or email@example.com.
